When I Experience Fear

Whenever I come across any situation that triggers fear and anxiety within me, my first thought is to pause and reflect on whether the action I am about to take aligns with the will of God or not. I believe seeking divine guidance can help me make more informed and mindful decisions, leading to a more fulfilling and purposeful life.

When faced with a situation that causes fear, it is essential to assess whether that fear is rooted in something that goes against God’s will. If it is, it is necessary to reject it and avoid engaging with it. However, it is also important to recognize that God’s plan for our lives often includes moments of challenge and suffering. In these moments, we are called to act courageously and trust God’s guidance and strength. Though it may be difficult, facing these crosses and persevering through the suffering can ultimately lead to growth, healing, and a more profound sense of faith.

It is entirely normal to feel afraid, especially when we are faced with situations that challenge us or make us uncomfortable. However, it is important to remember that fear does not have to turn into anxiety. By looking at the example of Jesus, who willingly endured the agony of the cross for the sake of God’s plan, we can find the strength and courage to choose God’s will for our lives, even amid arduous circumstances. Though it may be costly, we can trust that God’s plan for us is ultimately good and will give us the grace and wisdom to persevere.
